Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Pauhu Data Marketplace ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Pauhu Data Marketplace provides access to multilingual EU datasets for AI training and language technology applications. Products include:

• EUR-Lex Legal Feed (live subscription)
• TED Procurement Feed (live subscription)
• IATE Terminology Dataset (one-time purchase)
• DGT Translation Memory (one-time purchase)
• JRC-Acquis Parallel Corpus (one-time purchase)
• Wikidata EU Knowledge Base (one-time purchase)

3. License Grant

Upon purchase, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the datasets for:

• Standard License: Internal use, research, and application development
• Enterprise License: AI model training and commercial derivative works

You may not redistribute the raw datasets to third parties without explicit written permission.

4. Data Sources

All datasets are derived from publicly available EU institutional sources. Pauhu adds value through:

• Data cleaning and normalization
• Multilingual alignment
• Quality scoring annotations
• API access and delivery infrastructure

5. Payment Terms

Subscriptions: Billed monthly. Cancel anytime with 30 days notice.

One-time purchases: Full payment required before dataset access.

All prices in EUR. VAT applied where applicable (EU B2C transactions).

6. Data Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, datasets are provided "as is". We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of annotations or classifications. Users should validate data for their specific use cases.

7. Limitation of Liability

Pauhu's liability is limited to the amount paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, Finland.
